requirements as described below.

Services Provided:
In addition to cash assistance, food stamps, and medical programs,
the office provides access to many other programs and services for the residents
of Illinois. Our staff will help you find services from other DHS divisions,
other state agencies, and from your local community. Some of the services
that you may apply for through the McDonough County Office are:
Cash Assistance - TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
is available for those who meet both income and asset guidelines. Cash
Grants for the Aged, Blind & Disabled are available to those who meet
income & asset guidelines.
Medicaid - Medical assistance is available for the Aged, Blind & Disabled
that meet income & asset guidelines. Medical assistance is available
for Pregnant Women and Families with children under the age of 19 that
meet Income guidelines. (Assets are not considered for Family Medical).
Food Stamps - The USDA Food Stamp, LINK, program is available
to all Illinois residents who meet income and asset guidelines.
Child Care - Applications are available for childcare administered
through Child Care Resource & Referral. Eligibility is based on income & need
for child care services. See Child Care section in this directory. Comments:
Applications are available on a daily basis. Most applications require
an interview. Call the local office to obtain the current schedule for
Walk-In Intake. Interviews can be completed by the phone for medical
applications and when hardship requirements are met.
